This project was part of an elective course that I undertook in 2017. In this project, we took a concept design and worked through digitally modelling, and prototyping with digital fabrication to demonstrate the design.
The concept was for slatted screening that had the beautiful snaking path of the local Kaipara River carved into it. Our built prototype took three separate pieces of the river and combined them into a single model so that the different widths and depths of the cut could be easily seen.
